The Diary of a Social Cubist was conceived as a summative narration of the fin de siecle of the 20th century. It is an ongoing work, that is regularly updated as we move, in linear time, ever further into the 21st century.
Probably the last automatic novel of the 20th century, produced as both an Opera and as a Rich Media Novel and presented here online for the first time ever.
The diary is a non-linear presentation of an automatic narrative monologue.

Trippett's recent works include the 'Westplien memorial statue' in Utrecht, Netherlands (2005), and the 'RV Blazek Seat of Love in Prague (2006)'. His latest piece is an installation including a 14 foot diameter moon created by animating photographs of the 'Rue de la lune' in Paris. The Diary of a Social Cubist is an ongoing work .
